Ich möchte Euch alle zusammen mit meinem Freund Tommy Goldschmidt
zu einem sehr speziellen Event einladen:
Am 19. April wird Tommy ab 20:00 Uhr im Rickenbacker’s Inn nicht nur der „Master of Ceremonies“ sein, sondern auch sein sehr schmackhaftes Gericht das „Pollo Picante“
präsentieren.
Zusammen laden wir alle Menschen zum Mitmachen ein, die
1) auf Tommys Kochkunst neugierig sind,
2) sich an eine Musikkneipe aus der Mitte der 70er namens „Pampischek“ erinnern wollen,
3) die Gruppe „Paradise Island Band“ in der Original-Besetzung spielen hören möchten
4) und sich an ein kleines Gedenken an Reiner Strehlau, den Wirt des Pampischek, in
dieser Form anschließen wollen.

Wir haben Zusagen von John Vaughan, Ron Randolf, Wayne Grajeda, Francis Searafini und wer weiß, … vielleicht kommt auch diesmal wieder auch der Zauberer.

Perhaps someone spoke this words in the 70ies. Saxophone Joe Kucera, born in Tchechoslowakia, was a frequent artist in the club “Pampischek” that wrote history in the Berlin music scene.
He and other countless young, hungry and humble musicians came to the “Pampischek” to play, drink, talk and romance till dawn. First the place was a secret for a few and later a meeting point to remember for a huge quantity of music loving friends who loved acoustic, free, soft and powerful sounds.
The place guaranteed hand made inspiration to be heard by many streams, voices and instruments. Not a few bands formed their sound and their characteristical approach there.

Hear a touch of the good old days in our restless time, enjoy our international hospitality, try some food originated in Santa Cruz / Bolivia called “Pollo Picante”, and feel some gentle tunes in your soul from:
PARADISE ISLAND BAND and friends.
